I have a 91 Toyota Camry. The car starts easy enough but when I put it in a forward gear the thing coughs, belches, hiccups and then dies. It seems to be okay in reverse. I put new plugs, coil and rotor button about a month ago and the car has been running fine. But not now at all. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem and might have an easy solution? Very desperate here!

 

I'd make sure you get all of the basic tune up / regular maintenance out of the way, ie...air-filter, fuel filter, etc.... Then if the problem persists, start looking in to fuel supply issues.
