ok so heres the story. i installed an amp and sub. i decided to solder the remote-on wire to the harness wire. everything was working perfect bfore this. after i finished soldering, my car broke. the deck has no power. my clock no longer works. the "door ajar" light on the dash does not work. the beeping you get when your key's in the ignition and your doors open does not sound. my starter light does not light up. my remote lock no longer works as well. are they related? i checked the fuses, they dont seem to be blown. any ideas? i would like to have music again pleeease!

oh ps. heres a side problem. power locks on left hand side do not work. what could be possible problems? where's the best place to start?

 

Still sounds like a fuse, the car has at least 4 fuse boxes did you look at all fuses.

There are also fusible links that can blow out.

Did you check the fuses behind the ash tray on the drivers side?
