Default 96 Camry Rear Defogger Dead

The rear defogger on my 96 Camry died suddenly. I have checked all fuses and relays, as well as the continuity of the window tracings. Everything checks out except that there is no voltage at the connections to the rear window tracings. Is it possible that the dash switch is bad? How does it come out so I can check it?

Check the defogger relay and 40A defogger fuse. The relay is controlled by the switch which may incorporate a timer.

I have checked all fuses and replaced the relay already. By the way, that relay is about $ 34.00 from Toyota and is a special order; I got one off the shelf for $ 4.00 at Autozone. I still need info on how to get the switch out of the dash without damaging the dash. Thanks.
