Crazy Door locks
Anyone ever have this problem? I have a 93 Camry that has an issue with the door locks,as soon as I shut the car of the locks begin opening and closing and will continue until the battery is dead, I know that it has an alarm on it but that hasn't worked in years and we don't even have the remote any longer so just hoping that that isn't the cause.
Don't know.
If the car has an aftermarket remote locking system suggest removing it. You will need to look under the dash, covers over the steering column, behind the drivers and passenger side kick panels (plastic panels under the dash on the side of the car and behind the drivers side door panel.
There may be a switch under the dash. With some looking you should be able to tell the difference between factory and aftermarket wiring or a module that is tie-warped to a wiring harness.
The link below provides info on the installation of universal power door locks.

The door lock switch console has some electronics that are still powered when the ign switch is off. The fuses powering the door locks also power other components, you can't just pull a fuse.
Sometimes the wiring harness between the drivers door and chassis flexes too many times and the wires inside are damaged, frayed, etc. This can cause all kinds of strange door and window operation.
Check the door lock switch at each door for proper operation. These typically can be pulled out from the front.
