Turn signal goes on when Brake is applied
Here's the skinny: When my mother applies the brake in her 2009 Camry, the turn signal goes on. It doesn't blink but both the signal on the outside and the marker on the dash light up. Any help, so she can keep it out of the service department, would be greatly appreciated.

These are different circuits. If one circuit is now powering the other check for damaged wiring.
One area on older Camry was the wiring harness fraying where it went from the chassis to the trunk lid, the result was strange light behavior.
The brake light wiring may be blue, the turn signal wiring may be green and yellow.
On cars having using a dual filament bulb for brake and turn (don't think it is the case here), one filament can somehow touch the other (inside the bulb) causing strange light behavior.
