Default 1999 Camery V6 Po 171

Hi I have a 1999 Camry V6 and we are original owner of the car . this car has been having issues with engine hesitation (bucking) while driving at hwy speeds 2500- 4200 RPM and can cause car to lose power( total bank oneor two misfire and you have to turn the car off and restart it . It does not do it all the time and it a interment problem and has been going on for last 3 year. it does have other codes that show up time to time but po 171 is the main one

Problem started est 90,000 k and currently has 162,0000 on it .

Here the list of part replaced by Toyota dealer or independent repair shop . it had most work done at the Toyota dealer .

90 k spark plugs, wires , all four oxygen sensor ( car has kalifornia emission on it )

Between 90 and 161 it has MAF, all six fuel injector, thermostat , crank sensor, and list of other parts( including some vacuum lines replaced) . Last bill $500 dollars at Toyota dealer they said they have no idea what causing this problem.

This car is Fuel fowl the OEM spark plug on the car every35k-45k miles and I have spent over $2100 in repair to try to fix this problem . they say Toyota are reliable but I must have to a lemon because my chevy truck with 200k plus miles has never given me problems like this Toyota . future part they may want to ecm , coil pack but of couse none of the item test bad . any help you can lend would be great .

Usually misfires on a specific cylinder are due to ignition issues. It sounds like a coil pack, plugs and wire replacement should have been some of the first things on the replace list
