After stopping at a traffic light, and the car running perfectly fine until that point... i proceeded to accelerate, but my camry idle slowly dropped close to 0 RPM and i had to roll off the side of the road. Up to this point, my car refuses to fire up.
I have changed: fuel filter, air filter, fuel pump, spark plugs and air intake hose set-up. some of which needed some TLC, all problems aside. What is my next move?

Check for ign spark.

Any chance the timing belt broke?

 

I just changed timing belt and the fan belt a few months ago. They seemed intact. I guess i didn't quite fully check!

 

Check for spark?

If OK. Crank engine with plugs out and determine if fuel is being injected into the engine.

The fuel pump will only run when cranking or engine running.
