2007 Camry won't start
My 2007 Camry sat unused for a couple of months while recovering from hip surgery. When I first attempted to turn the car on, the starter tried and failed. Our neighbor was able to jump start it. But after letting the car run for an hour, I turned it off and once again the starter failed.
Yesterday I replaced the battery and ran into a new issue. While electricity has been restored (lights, radio, etc), the stater won't even begin. Replacing the battery in the electronic key failed to resolve the issue. Pushing the break pedal to the floor and hitting the start button on the key fob results in nothing.
Ideas / suggestions gratefully accepted.

What exactly happens when you attempt to start the engine.
do you turn the ign key and nothing happens or the starter does not engage but the dash light icon some on or etc?
Does the car have an ign key with built-in chip.
The ign key should engage the starter, the chip allows the engine to start.
How handy are you with working on cars?

problem solved.
For whatever stupid reason, Toyota did not include standard battery connections in my 2007 Camry. One connection was but the other was less than half the width of a standard battery post. So a special connection add-on is needed.
The one on the old battery was impossible to remove so I had to purchase a third party part. When I installed it, while it was tight, it was not fully touching all of the battery post. Loosing it and retightening while making sure it was fully wrapped around the post did the trick.
