im a new owner to a 1993 v6 camry. i love this car.

but i have a few problems now.

-my speedometer isnt reading all the time. its not smooth and it stops reading at 40-50mph. what can i do to fix this?

-the second thing that is getting me worried is when i put the car into 'drive', the car acts as if its choking/bogging. this also happens after i go from a dead stop. what can be the cause of this?

Blown head gaskets are common on this engine, is the engine shot?
