94 camry xle, help me please!!

Default 94 camry xle, help me please!!

i have a 94 camry xle, the engine light is on and now when i'm driving the car just shut off on me so i have to turn the car off then try to start it again and it takes a few intens to start up, i already change the coil packs, sparkles, cam sensor, crack sensor i dont know what to do anymore, help me please.

yes, engine light stays on; the only way to turn it off is when i disconnet the battery but it only stays off for a day or two the most. and today 3/7/12 the engine light blick 3 times but before it did it the car started acting rugh on the highway when i felt the it was gonna shut off i flow it the engine light blick.

If check engine light is blinking the engine has a problem that could damage the converter.

There should also be a troublecode(s) stored in the computer, get them read out.

this is the 2nd time that blicks or then that is just on.

just to make sure my car is a obd1, correct.

The system for this year/engine type is a hybrid ODBII which is different from cars of the same year with a 4 cylinder engine.

The ODBII Plug should be under the dash near the steering column. You may need an adapter plug since the system is not fully ODBII.

Might review past posts at the Toyotanation website on this issue.
