Default 94 LE power steering failure...Need advice/help

i was driving yesterday and my power steering failed as i was getting off the off ramp, i turned into a parking lot and tried to put it in a parking spot but when i pressed down on the gas nothing happened. i turned the car off, and now it wont start up again, the engine is turning over but it wont fully start. All my electronics work so i don't think its the alternator. i have a hunch its some kind of belt (timing maybe?) my serpentine is fine, and all my fluids are good. any suggestions? if possible i would like to fix it myself.

It sure sounds like your timing belt either broke or skipped a few teeth to the point where the engine will no longer start.

crazy guess, but maybe the brake booster cable came off. that causes the car to stall.
