The AutoZone website has info on changing the T-stat in the sites vehicle repair guide section. You'll need to register (free).

You should be able to change the WP yourself, follow the lower radiator hose to the engine, the T-stat is in the housing the hose attaches to.

To burp the system, remove the radiator cap (engine cold) and squeeze the large radiator hose. If air in the system the air will come out and the coolant level start to lower.

Make sure the fans are working, should turn on with the AC compressor.
