Air in tank

about 2 week ago i got a new filler neck on my 93 camry and now everytime i go to but gas in a bunch of air comes out and now my overdrive light stays on can anyone help me

What makes that happen? My friend's car got new filler neck too but didn't got any problem like yours.

There is a switch on the shift column that turns the overdrive on and off. If off the light will be on.

Now that the fuel tank leaks is fixed some air might come out as the tank is sealed from atmosphere.
