Default Help with 99 camry trans problem!!!

Car Specs:

- 1999 Toyota Camry LE
- four cylinder engine
- A140E Automatic Transmission

Problem:

The car will not pull in D, 4, L or overdrive. It just revs as if the selector is placed in neutral. it will go slowly if force the gas.
The car DOES work in reverse.
The car had a leak before, and had to pull over the side of the street and was not moving when fluid was out.
I added some PEAK ATF D3 to it and ran the selector through all the postions and worked for the last 3 months.
Then just recently the car started jerking when taking off at low speed, so i did a flush to the transmission.
Replace gasket, drain and add Toyota ATF. i added 2.6 Quart of ATF as recommended by dealer.
Now the car only works in Reverse, when in drive it seems like its low on fluid.
So i added another half quart of ATF to see if it helps. same problem..
Cant figure out what the problem might be......

Do any of you have a suggestion of something to try? Or is it as bad as I have feared? If the transmission needs to be replaced or rebuilt?

Thanks in advance

Default Dont Flush

When you had the first symptom (low fluid) then added. Your tranny OVERHEATED causing the damage to FORWARD Clutches amoung other things.

When the tranny is flushed ( Verses drain, check magnets and fill ) you can dislodge debris that can damage other things like the solonoids.

Rebuild or replaced the tranny.
