Default 12v outlets don't work

I have a 2006 .. it has a 12v on the dash, and one in the center console. They were both working fine yesterday morning, but wouldn't work when I tried to use them last night.

I've check the fuse and it looked fine, but I replaced it anyway. I really didn't figure it was the fuse because the same fuse controls the windshield washer which works fine.

I have no idea what else to check.

Thanks

Which fuse did you change? Power outlets should have their own fuse, 20A POWER OUTLET. Power to this fuse comes from the ACC Relay.

Oh.. according to my manual, I should change 15..same as Cig and Power. But I'll look at 20.

Thanks

Yeah.. took a look at the manual and 20 is something totally different.. but I took a look at the fuse and it's not blown.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Is there a 15A Power Point fuse?

Yes.. there is a fuse 15.. that's the first one I checked and it is not blown. It controls (among other things).. cig lighter, power outlets and windshield wiper.

Since it doesn't appear to be a fuse problem, what else could I check ?

Thanks,

The power outlets; are they designed to only work with the ignition key on ACC or with engine on? Does the radio and cig lighter work?

Do not have exact info. The 2002 and 2007 diagrams show the power outlets as being on a seperate fused cicuit, the power for this circuit comes from the ACC relay. Other circuits powered by this relay can be radio, cig, ECU ACC.

If the wiring is setup as you describe this is a LOT of current on a 15A fuse. Wipers are shown to have a seperate 25A fuse, the cig lighter 15A, radio 10A. If all these were combined on a single fuse, 15A is not enough. Plus this does not include the power outlets.

If the radio and cig lighter work then the ACC relay is OK. Still think there is a fuse between the relay and power outlets that is out.

One other possibility is bad wiring or a bad ground to or from the power outlets.

Default Could you tell me what you did?

Could you tell me what fuse you changed? I'm having the same issue and tried changing the CIG 15A fuse but this did not work.

Thank you!

Check for a fuse labeled as Power or Power Point.
