Default 1990 Camry 4cyl Intermittant Starting Problem

I have a 1990 camry 4 cyl that has a strange starting problem.
I have replaced the starter 2 times, the battery 2 times
Most of the time the engine will not start without jumping off with another car.
I have monitored the voltage at the battery. If the battery is at 12.65 vdc or less, you will have to jump with another car. After jumping it off, the alternator will bring the battery back up around 13.75 vdc. The engine will then start just fine. You can turn it off and restart over and over again.
While the car sits off for any length of time, 4-5 hours, it will not start.
I have even disconnected the battery overnight to see if the car was pulling the battery down while off.

Any ideals please

Thanks in advance

Have you checked the condition of the cables. Not just the cable ends but the sheathed part. Being a 1990 there may be too much resistance in the cable?? When you replaced the starter did theproblem go away for a while? Rebuilt starters along with rebuilt alternators are notorious for poor quality.

I replaced both cables.
When I changed the starter, the problem was the same, both times.

Why would it start immediatly, every time, with jumper cables, but not without?

HELP ME PLEASE

Thanks

I would next try the starter relay. Not sure on a 90 but you may be able to clean the contacts. Also check your ground strap connections.
