Default 1991 toyota camry will not stay running

hello, I am having a hard time tracking down the issue I am having with my toyota camry 1991 6 cyl 2.5L. It's an electrical problem, this I am sure of. I have replaced the battery and the alternator, but am still having issues. The car will start right up with a jump, but once you disconnect the cable and try to turn on the headlights or hit the brakes the car shuts off like a light switch... I'm at my wits end. I have even checked all the fuses and they are all fine. Any one have any ideas?

Have you checked the cable from the battery to the starter? What do the cables look like? Why do you have to jump start it if the battery is new? does it have any old security systems still in the harness?
