1992 window switch
I have a 1992 Camry, The only window that works is the driver side. I have replaced the master window switch and all the other switches and still can not get any of the other windows to work. Does any one know what my problem may be?????????????????
If the drivers window works the power window system is receiving power.
Sometimes the wiring going between the drivers door and chassis fails due to constant flexing as a result of door usage.
Take note: Each passenger switch as 3 wires, a dedicated 12V positive wire and 2 wires coming from the drivers console.
The two wires from the console allow for driver operation of the window motor. Reversing the polarity in the wires reversed the motor (and window) direction.
The dedicated 12V allows independent window operation. The passenger switch determines which input wire of the motor receives positive power. The return power wire then becomes one or the other of the two wires depending on if up or down window operation was selected.
The window motor power return wire is not connected to ground.
