Default 2007 Camry hestitation problems?

I've had a '07 Camry for 8 months (and owned an '03 previously with absolutely NO problems). After about 3 months, it started "hestitating" when you accelerate, as in when turning a corneror from a slowed speed. It seems like it is not downshifting properly. I've taken it to my dealer 3 times and they say they don't feel it and nothing is wrong. But when they've put the computer on it, something must reset because it runs better (it's not gone totally) for a few weeks. The hesitation eventually returns. Also a couple times when going up a steep hill, it went to downshift, but lost power and starting missing. It cleared up quickly.

I remember years ago, old cars hesitated sometimes, usually due to what kind of gas you purchased. I don't use generic gas. And I certainly don't expect a brand new car to drive like this. Anyone have this issue?

is this a v6 that you own. If so you should ask them if your car qualifies for the transmission recall.

if its an i4...i'd find another dealership to inspect it.

My 07 is a V4. Kind of funny that it's doing the same thing the V6 did though. After leaving at the dealership last week for 5 days, they finally were able to recordthe hesitation (that they said they never felt)on their computer. We're now waiting on Toyota to tell them how to proceed. Good idea about taking it to another dealership. May have to try that.

you have an i4 meaning inline 4 cylinder, dont go around telling people you have a v4...they will either be confused, amazed, indifferent (if they dont know the difference), or think less of you.

i'm glad that the problem was identified and a solution is in progress.
