2007 Camry LE V6 - Noise at 35 and up MPH
I have a 2007 Camry LE V6, purchased new in August 2006 now have 61k miles on it.
Like many 07 Camry owners, we've been plagued by continuous problems. Transmission problems, constant dashboard rattling, tire air sensors failed, back brake calpers failed, ball joints replaced, etc
our newest issue is one thats getting worse, yet the dealer can't diagnose.
at speeds around 40MPH there's a humming sound-road noise sound. similar to tires being out of balance, out of alignment. a low rumbling
when the car was still under warranty, the dealer replaced the back ball bearings checked all hubs and axles, that didnt fix the noise. took it back 2 other times, but they couldnt pinpoint the sound.
anyone else experiencing this problem? I have been searching high and low trying to pinpoint this issue and having no luck, I love my car and don't want this to cause long term damage.
Thanks Nick

definitely not unbalanced wheel sound.
sounds like simple tire noise. try driving on different areas of the road. if noise changes its pitch, it's tires.
btw, mine hums too. kinda cool though. but I know it's tire noise.
hey, speaking of dealers and repairs. they are like surgeons - cut first figure it out later. you just give them a car, they'll find what to replace awright.
