My 2011 SE has an exhaust leak at the flex pipe portion of the front exhaust pipe. Can / will exhaust professionals replace just that portion of the pipe as the rest of the system is 100% solid? To replace the whole front pipe appears a little speedy and unnecessary.

 

Replacing just the flex pipe is a common repair. Find an exhaust shop that will do this and nothing more.

Totally what Joey said, there are plenty of exhaust places out there that will take care of this for you and it will be cheaper than going to a dealer, etc.
