RE: the 3rd brake light
there should be any screw that holding the cover in place. on mine there are a clip on each side of the cover and just carefully pop each side out and the cover come off.. if you need pictures with step by step instruction i would gladly do it...

RE: the 3rd brake light
here are the pictures. i'll try to make it as smiple as i can.
to remove push on the back side (the side nearst to you) tell you feel hear it pop or if you can move it up. then push on both side till you hear it click then proceed to take your time to wiggle it out.
these are the 4 clips thats hold it in. its just plastic so becareful not to snap them.
there are 4 screw but you need to unscrew the big 2 only so the whole assembly with come off.
there are wires attached to the bottm so dont yank on it. just slide it out.
you can eather disccont the connector or twist the housing (the blacking) left till you feel a click then pull it out.
i just twisted and and popped it out.
hope that helps. if need me to explain something with nore details just ask/PM away..
BTW, the weather strip is there to stop the cover from hitting the window when my system is thumping. =D
