Hi,

Have had my 91 for over three years. She has run perfectly until the other day.

It will start just fine and idle fine. When I go to accelerate it will perform poorly, it seems to be missing and has very little power.

I pulled each spark plug wire to verify that all cylinders were firing. All are firing. I replaced the fuel filter as the fuel filter looked old and that was something I had not done in the three years I have owned the car.

I don't have much in the way of diagnostic equipment and am wondering how to proceed. Money is tight so I don't want to buy parts and equipment that I do not need but am willing to make educated purchases.

Problem is that I have no idea as to how to proceed. I would appreciate if someone could guide me in some troubleshooting techniques that will not break the bank.
