Default Auto Head Light Shut Off

I have a 1997 Camry. If I leave my headlights on when I shut the car off and then open the driver door they shut off. Lately the headlights haven't always been shutting off for me. What do I need to fix or replace to solve this problem? Thanks.

When they don't shut off when opening DS door have you noticed if the dome light comes on? If no dome light then your door switch may need cleaning/replacing. Otherwise it could be the Integration Relay.

Question 89 Camry - Where's that relay ??

I can't find a picture of this INTEGRATION RELAY any where in my '89 Camry manual. It is MENTIONED on page BE-8 "LOCATION OF SWITCHES AND RELAYS" but it is in parenthesis with no arrow and no picture. The trouble shoot is on BE-22 where it recommends replacing the relay.

I can't find the relay.

The #1 Fuse and Relay Block shows no relay.

Can you help?

Sincerely
-Dave
