Car has been running like a champ the past 130k miles I have driven it. I went to go start it up this morning and when I turn the key it makes a LOUD clicking noise and the speedometer shoots up to about 25 mph

 

Where was the noise from, engine compartment or under the dash?

Typically the issue is corroded battery terminals, bad battery cables or connections, starter solenoid, bad battery.

Start by cleaning the battery terminals and check the wire connections at the terminal.

If you have battery cables try jumping the car as could be a dying battery.
