Default changed batter on camry now car is running rough

Hey Guys, Anyone experience changing their battery and then the car was idleing and running rough? Toyota says there's a "carbon" build up in the throttle body, coupled with the loss of memory in cpu because of the changing of the battery. That is what their saying is why the car is running rough. "The car's throttle body can't find it's original position for idle"..... He also said it might just fix itself if I drive it for about a half an hour so the car get's it's "ram/memory" back.... Anyone go through this before? thanks,

Default RE: changed batter on camry now car is running rough

Very common. Every time the PCM loses power, it also loses it's memory. It takes about 10 drive cycles for it to learn its way again. Each drive cycle is consider a start from a cold engine to full warmup, driving above 30 MPH for more than 10 mins. You may have carbon on the throttle body too. Buy a can of CRC Throttle Body spray cleaner and spray the throttle plate and inside the throttle body. The can is about $4.
