engine question

I have a 2001 Camry and is making a clinking noise comming from the top of the engine can some give me a idea what can be/. they told me it can be that the engine needs to be flashed. please help.

Did you take the car to a mechanic?

They stated the computer needed to be re-flashed?

What type of engine, 4 cylinder or V6?

Engine question

Is a V4 and it runs great no engine warning light come on, I did noticed the noise got a little louder after the oil change.
