Help! Partial Door lock actuation. 2005 TC LE
Howdy,
Can you give me any advice about our 2005 Toyota Camry LE? Whats happening is the Drivers side door lock will intermittently only partially actuate and then the door wont open. You can tell when its not actuating correctly by the position of the locks manual actuating rocker above the inside door handle. looks like it only moving 90% of the way. When i attempt to unlock manually it feels jammed and will not allow the door to be unlocked or opened. When the door is open it all seems to work fine.
Anybody have experience with this?
Going out to pull the door panel now. I will watch for responses.

If not done so already, remove panel even if you are not sure what the problem is. If the locking system fails the door may become impossible to open.
When the door is closed, the mechanical door lock is also closed.
Look for linkage that has jammed or falling off its attach point.
