Default Keep losing power to charging ports

Hello,
I have a 2008 Hybrid and the fuse for the charging ports keep blowing. I've replaced that fuse 10 times or more with in the last 2 months. I've tried 5 different cell phone chargers and all of them will blow the fuse. I'm at a loss as what is blowing this fuse. Please help. Thanks

What size fuse are you using?

Does the car have two power outlets, if so what is plugged into the other one?

Default Nothing plugged in.

There's nothing plugged in to the other port. Some phone chargers blow the fuse faster than others.

Others have had the same issue.

Might look at the charger plug and power socket to determine if it is possible for the two could cause a short when mated together.

Examine the power port for any bits of metal that might have falling in.

I've checked for something falling into ports. Found nothing. Checked for dead shorts, nothing. Seems like it just can't handle the amps

Thanks

Thought the fuse is 20A which is a LOT! The power consumption of the charger might be around 700ma.

Have you tried using the other port?

My guess is the issue is with the power port. Perhaps other chargers have slightly different plugs that work somewhat better with the port.

500 mha charger will blow the 20 amp fuse in 6 hrs. I'm gonna try and pull the ports as look at connections.
