Default motor mounts ?

Anybody here attempt to do motor mounts on a 97-2001 v6 ? I'm getting a humming and vibrations from the engine and with 120k miles on her , I'm sure the motor mounts are the culprit . Any tips on doing this ?

Default RE: motor mounts ?

usually if the motor mount it loose the mount on top of the timing belt will have a torn bushing...but to replaced the front and rear mount you will just need to remove the mount on top of the timing belt and jack the motor with a floor jack as high as you can go, with the front and rear mounting fastern remove of course...the front comes out pretty easy the back is a little tight..
