radio anti theft activated

radio anti theft activated
so the other day the anti theft of my radio was activated when i slammed the hood down a little to hard setting off the alarm. now when i turn on the radio all it says on the screen is 'SEC'
what the service manual says to do is enter in the 3 digit code to deactivate the theft system...but heres the problem. its a 94' and i have no idea how many previous owners have used the car and im sure that no one even knows what it is.
ive talked to some shops and they said that the easiest way is to just install a new deck but im not wanting to spend any money.
anyone know how to reset the theft system without knowing the pass code?
