Link install went well. Fit was perfect. No rubbing. This may be an original link or a link that was replaced a while back. Maybe they upgraded the gauge of the link over the years. Oh, these are MOOGS from Rock Auto. Rock Auto also does carry a economy version which is cheaper and appears thinner gauge.

Interested in feedback when I see something different like this.


By the way cut the bolts off rather than remove with wrench on these rusty ones. Careful not to cut the bar and understand there is a fuel tank nearby. I use a metal plate to isolate the sparks. Cut two bolts off in 2 minutes and installed, torqued new one in five. Took me longer to jack it and find my tools.

One last thing to add. After installing new links, ride is much better. I guess I just got use to some of the noises and the ride on this old car. Pleasantly surprised.
