I just bought a 2011 Toyota Camry XLE and was wondering if anyone has heard of using the turn signal to be able to turn the car on. I put the key in and i cant turn the car on, but if i move the turn signal to the right the car turns on. Has anyone heard of this or have the same thing on their car. I bought the car for my wife and left her at the dealer when I bought the car and the sales guy told her it was part of the security for this vehicle. Not sure!

 

I am locking the car from the inside (key fob doesn't work even though I have changed battery) and when I use the key to unlock car, the security system goes off...any ideas?
