Question Stering stiff after braking

I have a 2007 v-6 Camry XLE with 82,000 miles, while driving the steering gets tight sometimes after braking. What could cause this?

Can you explain this better?

For only a moment especially when in parking or tight turns it feels like a tire is flat and then steering returns to normal. With the car sitting idling no issues cycling the wheel completely which in my opinion rules out the power steering belt. I noticed that using the brake for example come to a complete stop and then turn makes it repeat on a regular basis. The problem does not exist 100% of the time.

The PS pump has a pressure relief valve. Sometimes this valve sticks, the result is the steering becomes hard to turn for a moment (and sometimes longer) then goes back to normal.

Might try changing the PS fluid. Find something to suck the fluid out of the PS reservoir then replace with new. Do this between drives until the fluid is clear again.
