Transition to led headlamps
A few months ago I purchased lasfit led headlamp bulbs to replace the halogen bulbs on my 2015 Camry SE. I like the led bulbs but the drl/high beam bulb flickers during the daytime. I know it’s a power issue. I purchased and installed a canbus per lasfit, now I have no drl. The high beams still work. Lasfit said that the canbus disabled the drl. Is there any led bulbs that I can use that won’t flicker when using the drl. Thanks
Is the bulb the same for DRL and headlights?
You may need something like in the link below but street legal.

The issue may be the voltage to the bulbs when the DRL is on is less then 12V to dim the lights. This is OK with a filament bulb but doesn't work with most LED bulbs. Most LED bulbs are either 100% on or off.

The DRL operates by lowering the the voltage to the bulb to dim the output. This works in filament bulbs but not with LED unless they are constructed to be dimmable.
You need to find a headlight LED bulb that is dimmable..

I'd like to see some kind of regulations for LED's. When I am driving, even in the daylight, I am blinded by LED's, they are just plain too bright unless carefully aimed to prevent blinding oncoming traffic. They used to check headlight aim back when they did auto inspections, but now that they stopped do that it's terrible out there. I suppose a certain number of people will need to be killed in accidents before something is done about this problem.
