2003 Camry Power window issue, drivers side
Hey Folks, Rick here. I hope y'all are staying safe from Covid 19.
I own a 2003 Camry XLE, bought it new. I have a issue with my power windows on the drivers side. the rear passenger window has never worked from day 1, and then 2 yrs ago my drivers window which works perfectly most of the time, would just seize up and stop working at all, for at least 5 minutes, then usually it just works again properly. I know how to work on cars and understand that switches can go bad. so I purchased the correct brand new switches and the problem is exactly the same. I just dont get it as far as this being an intermittent problem/ could it be in the relay switches? Im hopeful one of you will know exactly what my issue is. I've tested all the voltage everywhere and all electrical is good. I'm a bit stumped. Thank you!

All windows get power from the same Power Relay. Power splits off from the relay going to the Master Switch and each individual window. This power arrangement allows use of both master and individual switches to control the non-driver windows.
Toyota may have used two different window control manufacturers. One appears to have a jam protection feature. Could the window be jamming?
The drivers window master switch directs power to two wires to operate the motor. Changing wire power polarity changes the direction of motor rotation. You could check for voltages at the two wires. Take note the wiring for the drivers door motor would vary with manufacturer. As such need to know what color wires the car has.
