Default Cam shaft position sensor

Hello, I was in the process of changing the plugs in a 2008 Camry, and when I moved the wiring harness, I unfortunately pulled the wires for the camshaft positioning sensor out of the connector. does anyone have experience of how to disassemble the connector,,and re-atach the wires, and if important in what sequence ?

Thanks in advance, Jan

What engine type, V-6 or 4 cylinder?

Typically the connector wire pins push in from the back of the connector. The pins are held in by a spring clip built into the pin that engages the connector. The pins are removed by pushing down on the spring clip from the front with a homemade or special tool.

The internet as threads and videos on how to do this.

Thank you very much Joey! Fortunately I was successful in repairing the connector, and the car is running again. Again thanks for your response

regards, Jan
