I have the transmission code P0773 and looking for directions to clear the code.
​​​​97 3.0 with auto transmission.

 

p0773 shift solenoid E fault
pan off to replace that one

Low transmission fluid level
Dirty transmission fluid
Faulty shift solenoid 'E' valve
Shift solenoid 'E' valve harness is open or shorted
Shift solenoid 'E' valve circuit poor electrical connection

to clear code without a diagnostic scanner
radio security code in hand if needed

disconnect the battery terminals 10 secs ...reconnect

if code re appears replace faulty part
