paint job?
Anyone ever try Maaco for a paint job? they quoted me super cheap, but sounds too good to be true! Will it peel in a year?

These paint jobs are super cheap for a reason!
Maaco can do a good job if YOU help prep the car. This includes removing trim, sanding, dent repair, priming, etc. Then talking to the shop about their staff applying the top coat.
The vast majority of work in a paint job is prep. This is also where most of the labor is.
If you are paying $400 for a paint job. The shop needs to pay for paint, labor, overhead, profit, etc which leaves little room for prep labor.
