Screeching sound when turning
My 2014 Camry has a screeching sound when im turning. I recently checked the brakes and the pads look great, no scratches on the rotor. I did notice that it seemed like one caliper had pins that werent moving that easily so I pulled then and applied a little grease, but when I put them back on, the noise is still there. It only happens when I am turning(like backing out of the driveway). Any ideas?
Is it a continuous squeak or squeak/squeak?
Does the noise sync with the car MPH?
What happens when turning and the brake is applied?
Make left and right hand 360 degree turns at low speeds. Listen for clicking and popping?
Record the sound and post.
Never know about backing plates. When hearing a squeak when turning the first thing I do is bend the front backing plates away from the rotor NO matter if I see nothing is wrong. Squeak goes away.
