Default Brakes squealing while cruising

When I'm cruising either at 10mph or 40 mph, I hear a squealing noise coming from my right hand side. I'm sure that the noise is coming from the front or back right tire/brake. The squealing is consistent with the revolution of the tire, so I'm guessing there's something that may be detached. However, it only sounds when I'm cruising at 10mph or 40mph. Does anybody have any ideas what might be wrong?

it could be at least 2 things. 1) it could be the wear indicator letting you know you need new brakes. or 2), it could be a light glaze on the rotors due to over heating the brakes by hard use or riding them. in either event, have the wheels removed and checked...........

If it's the wear indicator, do you kno how long I can drive on it for until I should change the brakes?
