Default Strut and Spring R&R technicalities

Just starting to change stock struts and springs with Tokico HP and H&R OE Sport. Any helpful hints to deal with some of the more difficult
parts of the process, for example bolt removal at the connection of strut and the real axle carrier. I have moderate experience in auto maintenance but no power tools. All constructive advice is welcome.
