Default 97 Camry stuck starter

I have a bad starter on my 97 Camry. I am trying to replace it with a new one I just bought. however, after removing the 2 bolts on each side of the starter. the starter assembly WILL NOT come out. after watching videos on YouTube, this is supposed to be only a 10 minute job. but again, this starter Will not come out after removing the bolts. please help. how can I get this thing off? yanking, pulling and even trying to pry it off with a screwdriver doesn't work. ideas?

You removed the one bolt on each side of the starter that bolts the starter assy flange to the engine? Guessing their size is around 3/8 inch dia and 1 to 1-1/2 inch long bolts.

If you are SURE the bolts are out, place a block of wood against the starter housing to distribute the impact and hit the wood with a hammer. Don't hit the motor portion of the starter assy, the unit held on by the two small diameter long bolts.
