2001 Camry high Idle, ruff start, P0115
2001 Camry
SYMPTOMS:
i am am getting a P0115 code
Currently getting sporadic high idle sometimes at traffic lights. The car will idle high briefly as if I tap the gas. It idles high enuff to cause the car to move forward until I press harder on the brake. It will idle to about 1500rpm at the traffic light.
Several times after driving and putting the car in park, idle has shot up pass 2000rpm. Pressing the gas does not cause it to drop down to normal.
Outside if the issues above the car drives fine. A few times after driving it, the next day it wouldn’t start. It would turn over and BARELY stay on but the second I give it gas it conks out. Other times it just barely started. This has happen sporadically too
ATTEMPTED FIXES:
new IAC
thermostat and coolant temp sensor less than a year old.
I ran voltage check on temp sensor and harness as well as throttle position sensor last night (all readings good)
seamfoamed gas treatment and throttle body and cleaned around the throttle with toothbrush
new spark plugs, wires and ignition coils
new purge solenoid ( the nozzle was broken off where the hose connects)
new Egr module
i have run out of things to check. Any suggestions

You changed the ECT sensor that goes to the computer? Did you check wiring from sensor to computer?
Per chance check/watch the throttle body arm to determine if its moving without pressing on the gas. The cable to it does not run directly from the gas pedal.
