Default '97 MCV20(R) SXV20(R) drivers window

I have had a drivers window put out on my '97 MCV20(R) and insurance ain't playing ball. I'm going to pick up a windows at the wreckers yard, but can anyone tell me if the electric windows are interchangeable with the manual windows?

If I find out elsewhere, I'll post back here for others.

Only one part is listed.

Make sure it matches your door setup, 4-door or 2-door.

A user on another forum said:

"The glass is the same manual or electric. However, the glass is slightly different depending if the car is Japan or Kentucky built. So best to match your VIN (starts with either 4T or JT) so the replacement glass will match the rest."

Between the two of you, I don't think I can go wrong; thanks!

Toyota list the part by Japan and build date (built to 4/97 and built after 4/97) and US built.

After market suppliers list only one part.

If a used Toyota part, check with the wrecker who should have application info.

The internet has VIN decoders.
