Default Camry Ignition troubleshoot guide

Looking for a troubleshooting guide for Ignition problems. I have followed the trouble shooting guide in the Hayes manual and have not found the issue.

No Spark
- Distributor is clean and dry
- Power to the distributor is 12v
- Internal coil resistance checks passed (replaced anyway)
- Power to the Ignition Control Mod is 12v
- AutoZone performed test on ICM and passed
- Fuses all look good and hear a click at the ignition relay

Need help to continue this troubleshoot process.

The year is '92 and the engine is the 4 cyl 16 valve. I found the problem and have spent the rest of the day replacing the broken timing belt.

At the same time I have also replaced the water pump which is right in the same procedure as the timing belt. I have followed all the procedure as I understood and I must have missed one of the finer details of the spark timing.

I have spark now but still have not got a start. Given the belt broke I returned the crank and cam in their proper TDC positions and following the procedure hand cranked 1 full cycle to check all the alignments. All looked good.

My suspicion is that I have the distributer 180 deg out.

What proceedure did you use to get the cam and crank pulley at TDC?
