Default hit curb, ruined distributor, coolant temperature sensor. replaced, car won't start

After I replaced distributor, I started. But then died off with a code P0115. Then I found the Coolant Temperature sensor broken. Yet though I replaced it, the car still won't start. Any idea? Seems has spark.

Default 1996 toyota camry, 4 cylinders

1996 toyota camry, the one used to have code P0172. Maybe somewhat bad coolant temperature sensor cause P0172. distributor ruined because one inside bolt loose, which tighten the spinning arm. This arm got loose and hit broken the cover, the contact 4 poles.

Did the engine ran OK prior to the distributor issue?

What was the P0172 code about?

The broken connector would cause the P0115 code.

Does the engine have ign spark?

Any blown fuses?

Might be a fuel or electrical issue. Does the engine compartment have a small plastic box on the passengers side strut tower? If so determine if the box has a B+ and FP terminals inside. If so check for +12V at the B+ terminal with ign on. Can jump the two terminals inside of box to turn on fuel pump then try to start engine.

One more thing you can try is verify that the wiring is in good condition and that the replacement coolant temperature sensor is attached correctly. The sensor may not be able to give the engine control module (ECM) correct data due to a bad connection or broken cabling.

On a car that old and if in the rust belt one hit can shake up wiring. I have a 1995 Camry and happened to me. Just a loose connection but can't remember issue.
