Hi Guys,

I got a new 2019 camry. Unfortunately the inner end of the trunk lift support strut just popped out. Is there anyway to fix it/ re-attach it myself. Its outer end attached to the trunk has a ball joint but not the inner end which connects to the inside of trunk. That end is some weird shaped plastic and does not even look like i can bolt it to something as it does not have holes in it.

Any help appreciated !!

Perhaps time to see the dealer for a warranty repair.
