My battery was dead and I was getting it jumped by my dad but i hooked up the cables wrong and sparks and smoke appeared. I yanked the cables off and went and bought a brand new battery. The car still won't start. I called a friend and they said to check out the Engine fuse. I don't see a fuse labeled as that or anything close. Is there such a fuse? Is this what I should be checking first? I'm at a loss, and am not a big car person.
