Default engine not starting after new battery

my 97 camry battery was dead due to non-operation for the past 4 months.
I replaced the new battery however the engine is totally dead now.

is it due to fuse issue?
any suggestion please?

If totally dead check the battery cables and end terminals for damage or corrosion. Check the negative terminal ground point on the chassis.

There is also a fusible link between the battery and the cars main electrical supply. Should be in a small plastic box in the engine compartment.

Thanks for the suggestion. it seems theft control alerts whenever I connect a new battery, I reset the button and it is working fine.
